The Sporthotel Berger is located at Velden’s lakeshore promenade, close to the marina and the Velden Castle. Sit on our sun terrace and enjoy the fantastic view over the Bay of Velden. We feature our own lido with deck chairs, sunshades and hotel service (drinks, food), as well as our own car park. Activities available in the surrounding area include swimming, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, Nordic walking, sailing, surfing, motorboating, golf, tennis, beach volleyball, horseback riding, diving, water skiing and rafting. You will receive a free Wörthersee Kärnten Card when staying with us. Many excursion destinations, boat rides on Lake Wörth, entrance fees, reductions for public transport and much more is included in this card.

Food & Beverage

Restaurant & Seebar: A café and restaurant with a lakeside terrace seating about 200 people. It offers fish specialities from rivers, lakes and seas, a breakfast buffet, an evening menu with a choice of dishes, and pastry specialities from our in-house pastry chef.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for extra beds. One child from 3 to 12 years is charged 25 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One child from 13 to 15 years is charged 40 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. One older child or adult is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
